Members of Sacramento Area Fire Fighters, Local 522 and their families were joined by California State Assembly Member, Dave Jones to walk in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. The race was held at Cal Expo the day before Mother's Day.

Approximately 50 participants (runners and walkers) met at Sacramento City Fire Station 19, next to Cal Expo, prior to the event to acquire team t-shirts and snap a group photo.
